Keria Teas began as a dream, a dream to open a teahouse, where customers experience a wide array of the highest quality loose-leaf teas, and find a few moments of relaxation and escape from the everyday hurry. This dream became a reality in 2004.

Keria Teas is owned by husband-and-wife team, Kristen and Steven Schneider. The Schneiders have lived in the Austin area for over 20 years and have been involved with tea for approximately 12 years. After visiting several teahouses, both in the U.S.A. and abroad, Kristen and Steven decided it was time to bring this luxury to central Texas! The business began with 60 tea selections and has now expanded to over 125 choices. Customers may buy the tea loose, or enjoy a cup in the store! A traditional British Afternoon Tea is offered twice a week, and private parties are often booked here as well.

Keria Teas is located in a 1907 National Historic Pharmacy building in downtown Round Rock, Texas, just 20 minutes north of Austin. The building spent much of its life as a pharmacy and visitors can still see the original pressed tin ceiling, longleaf pine flooring, and old marble soda fountain, as well as the antique loft area where the local doctor and dentist saw their patients. Even the original pharmacy cabinets are still here, with counterweight panels and hand-blown glass. The building is a regular stop on the Round Rock Ghost Tour; some say past inhabitants still visit!
