Iron Goddess of Mercy

What a wonderful name for a tea! This fabulous oolong, with its floral aroma and flavor, is perhap one of the best-known oolongs in the world. Legend holds that an iron statue of the Buddhist god, Guan Yin, came to life and blessed a local farmer with a tea plant in thanks for his services to her temple. The farmer then developed this tea and named it in her honor. Watch these beautiful balled leaves unfurl as they steep!
